JOB FUNCTION

Responsible for the management, handling and storage of maize in order to ensure a quality product to achieve sustainable financial results.

Job Description

The Quality Controller will be responsible assist the Quality Control Manager within VKB Milling. Continuous evaluation of the system will be required.

Requirements

• Grade 12/ NQF 4
• Proven experience within a similar role
• Computer literate in the MS Office package
• Food Safety Background

Duties and Responsibilities

• Continuous liaison with internal departments on an ongoing basis to ensure Food safety service and products.
• Keep up to date with changes in current legislation and implement such changes where relevant
• Distribute and review all the relevant documentation and product specifications pertaining to Quality Assurance.
• Audit and develop the company’s quality procedures ensuring the safety of all products manufactured.
• Comply with Occupational Health and Safety requirements and Food safety requirements as per standards and procedures.
• Perform inspections on Products, Equipment and Machinery and based on findings, accept or reject relevant products and procedures.
• Ensure that the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing
