About Us
The South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (NECSA) is a state-owned nuclear research and technology organization founded in 1999 and headquartered in Pelindaba, North West Province. It plays a key role in nuclear science, medical isotope production, and energy research. NECSA employs around 1,900 staff and generates approximately R2.1–R2.2 billion in annual revenue.
