1. Independent Information Platform
Career325 is an independent information platform created exclusively for educational and career guidance purposes. We are not affiliated, associated, authorised, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with any of the following:
- Any Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA), including but not limited to: W&RSETA, MERSETA, CHIETA, Services SETA, FP&M SETA, TETA, CATHSSETA, AGRISETA, ETDP SETA, BANKSETA, MICTSETA, PSETA, SASSETA, and all others
- Any South African government department, including the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) and Department of Employment and Labour
- Any employer, company, recruitment agency, or staffing firm
- Any TVET college, university, or training institution
2. What We Do NOT Do
To protect our users from scams and exploitation, Career325 explicitly states that we do not engage in the following activities:
| We DO NOT | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Recruit or hire | We are not an employer. We do not make hiring decisions, shortlist candidates, or conduct interviews. |
| Collect personal documents | We will never ask for your ID document, passport, CV, driver’s license, matric certificate, or any other personal document. |
| Charge any fees | We do not charge application fees, registration fees, admin fees, or any other payment for accessing our information, guides, or opportunities. If anyone asks you to pay for a learnership or job, it is a scam. |
| Guarantee job placement | We cannot guarantee that you will receive a learnership, internship, or job. We simply provide information to help you apply. |
| Process applications | We do not accept applications through this website. Any application must be submitted directly to the employer or SETA as specified in the opportunity post. |
3. Our Only Goal
To provide clear, accurate, and free information about South African learnerships, internships, SETA programmes, TVET colleges, apprenticeships, stipends, and career pathways – so that South African youth can make informed career decisions without fear of scams.
We achieve this by:
- Publishing original, human-written career content
- Following official SETA and government training frameworks
- Regularly updating articles with current information
- Focusing entirely on education, not recruitment
4. No Warranties or Guarantees
While we strive to ensure all information on Career325 is accurate and up-to-date, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of any information contained on this website.
Important reminders for users:
- Learnership and internship opportunities are subject to change without notice
- Application deadlines may pass or be extended at the employer’s discretion
- Stipend amounts vary by SETA, employer, and learnership level
- We strongly encourage users to verify official details directly with the relevant SETA, employer, or company before applying
5. Third-Party Links
Career325 may contain links to external websites (e.g., SETA portals, company career pages, official application forms). These links are provided for your convenience and information only.
We have no control over the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for the accuracy or legitimacy of information found on external sites.
6. No Scams – User Responsibility
Protect yourself: Unfortunately, job and learnership scams are common in South Africa. Career325 provides scam alerts and red flag guides, but the final responsibility to avoid scams lies with you, the user.
Warning signs of a scam:
- Anyone asking you to pay for an application form, learnership, or job
- Anyone requesting your ID, bank details, or CV before you have verified their legitimacy
- WhatsApp or SMS messages offering “guaranteed placement” for a fee
- Emails from Gmail/Yahoo addresses pretending to be SETAs or large companies
If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Report scams to the South African Police Service (SAPS) or the Department of Employment and Labour.
