VACANCY

IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to  develop this “mine of the future”. Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the following vacancies required for the project development.

TRUCK DRIVER – EC LICENSE (FULLY COMPLIANT) REF: STS-IVP-2611

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

·       Valid EC Driver’s License

·       Valid PDP

·       Valid Medical Certificate, or be able to obtain one

·       Valid Operator Permits

·       All required industry permits to operate heavy vehicles

·       Proven experience driving heavy trucks and trailers

·       Strong safety awareness and compliance with road regulations

·       Ability to complete logbooks, checklists, and daily vehicle inspections

·       Reliable, punctual, and able to work long hours when required

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

·      Safe operation of heavy vehicles

·      Transporting goods according to schedule

·      Pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections

·      Reporting defects and maintaining vehicle condition

·      Following company and road safety procedures at all times
