WAREHOUSE DRIVER X 1 REF : IVP-FIN-2609
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious LDV Driver with a valid Code 08 / Code 10 driver’s licence to support daily warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and assisting with general warehouse duties when not driving.
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
· Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent (Mathematics preferred)
· Certificate Supply chain, Logistic or procurement – Advantage
· Valid Code 10
· Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
· Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as an LDV driver in a warehouse, mining, or heavy industrial environment.
· Experience with stock receiving, binning, and dispatch processes
· Experience conducting vehicle inspections and reporting mechanical defects
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
· Operate a Light Delivery Vehicle (LDV) safely and in accordance with road and company regulations
· Transport goods, materials, and documentation between warehouses, suppliers, and sites
· Conduct pre-use checklist and report defects.
· Transporting goods between shafts, warehouses, salvage yard and operational areas
· Assist with receiving, offloading, counting, and inspecting stock
· Assist with picking, packing, and dispatching of orders
· Support binning, stacking, and housekeeping activities in the warehouse
· Assist with stock counts and general inventory control tasks
· Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards at all times
· Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and warehouse work areas
