Semi-Skilled Rigger – Mokopane, Limpopo Full Time

VACANCY

IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanized state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to develop this ‘mine of the future’. Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the following vacancy required for the project development.

SEMI-SKILLED RIGGER REF: STS-IVP-2610

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

·       Perform all duties safely and in accordance with company, client and legal requirements.

·       Support project objectives and production targets.

·       Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks and safety initiatives.

·       Maintain quality workmanship and compliance with site standards.

·       Report hazards, incidents and non-conformances.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Grade 12 Certificate (non-negotiable)

·       Relevant Rigging Experience

·       Valid Competency Certificates

EXPERIENCE:

·       2 – 3 Years Experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

·       Communicate effectively with the team.

·       Good problem-solving abilities.

·       Must be medically fit for mine site work.
